TASTE OF THE ABINGTONS (Non-Profit Fundraiser)

The Rotary Club of the Abingtons is pleased to announce that they will be hosting the 7th Annual Taste of the Abingtons on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Inn at Nichols Village Hotel & Spa from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Dozens of local restaurants and eateries will be providing specialty food items of their choice under one roof – from savory appetizers and exquisite entrees, to scrumptious desserts and specialty coffees. The event offers the opportunity to sample great food, enjoy entertainment, and mingle with family and friends, knowing the proceeds will be benefitting numerous Rotary projects both locally and internationally. Tickets are only $25 per person and may be obtained from any Rotary Club of the Abingtons member or by calling the chair, Bob Vielee at 570-586-3135.

Location: Rooney's Irish Pub; 67 S Main St, Pittston, PA 18640-1700

We'll be having another iteration of Blog Fest at Rooney's Irish Pub, 67 S. Main Street in Pittston. Festivities officially start at 6:00 and continue until everyone goes home, which usually isn't until 10:00 or later.All are welcome, bloggers and non-bloggers alike. This is a networking event. Whether your goal is to network with current and future political office-holders or to network with other regional bloggers from Northeastern Pennsylvania, you will find that this is one of the best networking opportunities anywhere!
