TASTE OF THE ABINGTONS (Non-Profit Fundraiser)

The Rotary Club of the Abingtons is pleased to announce that they will be hosting the 7th Annual Taste of the Abingtons on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Inn at Nichols Village Hotel & Spa from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Dozens of local restaurants and eateries will be providing specialty food items of their choice under one roof – from savory appetizers and exquisite entrees, to scrumptious desserts and specialty coffees. The event offers the opportunity to sample great food, enjoy entertainment, and mingle with family and friends, knowing the proceeds will be benefitting numerous Rotary projects both locally and internationally. Tickets are only $25 per person and may be obtained from any Rotary Club of the Abingtons member or by calling the chair, Bob Vielee at 570-586-3135.

Labyrinth Walk on the Blue Moon (Community Event)
Time: 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: 200 Lake Ave., Montrose, PA 18801

August 31st is the second full moon in August and there will be a labyrinth walk to mark the event at the Self Discovery Wellness Arts Center in Montrose.This is a public walk. An explanation of labyrinths and instructions for the walk will be provided for newcomers to the labyrinth experience. Arrival is at 7:00pm. RSVP is appreciated. Refreshments will be served.
