Doggie Sundaes and food at the Soda Fountain in Dunmore (Non-Profit Fundraiser)
Time: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Location: The Soda Fountain (1325 E. Drinker Street, Dunmore, behind the old Gertrude Hawk)

The Soda Fountain will be donating 30% of the proceeds to One Life to Live Rescue and Adoption, Inc to help us save more dogs from high kill shelters. There will be hoagies, porketta sandwiches, salads, pizza, and ice cream. There will be free poochie sundaes for all the dogs! Please come out and help us promote this great event.

The Rotary Club of the Abingtons is pleased to announce that they will be hosting the 7th Annual Taste of the Abingtons on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Inn at Nichols Village Hotel & Spa from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Dozens of local restaurants and eateries will be providing specialty food items of their choice under one roof – from savory appetizers and exquisite entrees, to scrumptious desserts and specialty coffees. The event offers the opportunity to sample great food, enjoy entertainment, and mingle with family and friends, knowing the proceeds will be benefitting numerous Rotary projects both locally and internationally. Tickets are only $25 per person and may be obtained from any Rotary Club of the Abingtons member or by calling the chair, Bob Vielee at 570-586-3135.
