TheFriends of the Abington Community Library Spring Book sale will be held on Saturday, April 14th from 9:AM to 2:PM. Volunteer members are asked to help set-up on Friday, April 13, from 3:30PM to 5:PM. Volunteers may preview the saleafter set-up is complete,www.lclshome.org/abington from 5:PM to 6:30PM.

Hughestown Hose Comapany Annual Fish Fry (Non-Profit Fundraiser)

Save the date, it's that time again for the annual Hughestown Hose Company Good Friday Fish Fry to be held at the fire station banquet hall on Friday, April 6th. The dinner starts at 4:30 P.M. and the last seating will be at 8:30 P.M. The annual dinner features the freshest fish fried in our secret beer batter recipe with hand cut french fries, homemade coleslaw and a dinner roll. Take outs available. Freshly made pizza by the slice will be available for patrons who do not eat fish or by the tray for take out only.There will also be a gift card, basket raffle and a guest appearance by the Easter Bunny.Tickets are $8.00 for adults and children. Children under eight years of age are free.Tickets are available by contacting department member or by calling the fire house at 570-654-4188.
