Art Auction Gala (Non-Profit Fundraiser)

The Rotary Club of the Abingtons announces that they will be hosting a benefit Art Auction presented by Marlin Art on Friday, March 23 at the Glen Oak Country Club in Clarks Summit. Preview will begin at 6:30PM with complimentary wine, cheese, and fruit served. The Auction will begin at 7:30PM and the collection of works will include hand blown glass, sports memorabilia, watercolors, oils, lithographs, giclees, and serigraphs of all price ranges. This unique event offers the opportunity to mingle with family and friends while enjoy an exciting evening of fine art, knowing the proceeds will be benefitting numerous Rotary projects both locally and internationally. How to Manage Your Business in a Turned Down Economy (Workshop)

SCORE in cooperation with LCCC will present this 10 hour, 5 session business workshop. The workshop's objective is to examine, analyze and implement strategies to return to acceptable levels of profitability. Walk away with a revised business plan and strategy to recast your existing business into a money maker.

Friends of the Abington Community Library will host Chips, Dips and Sips to thank the community for their support. On Saturday, March 24 2012, from 6 PM to 8PM at the Abington Community Library 2012 W. Grove St. Clarks Summit, PA. The wines of Maiolatese will be paired with hors doeuvres offered by the Friends group. Tunes by local players will enliven the event.
