Compassionate Friends Candle Lighting (Community Event)

Mof the local community will light candles on Sunday, December 9 in an act of remembrance of all children who have died at any time, of any age and from any cause as we participate in our annual candle lighting. Everyone in the community is invited to attend and participate. Whether you have lost a child yourself, or are the friend of someone who has died, please come and show your support by lighting a candle and participating in our program. The local candle lighting will be part of a special service held promptly at 7:00 pm at the Abington Community Library, 1200 West Grove Street, Clarks Summit, PA and will feature music, an interfaith service, a reading of the names of the children who have passed away, a table of remembrance, along with time for fellowship and sharing.
